I am pleased to report that the RORC entered 2 teams and achieved some notable success. Past Commodore David Aisher excelled in the skiing part of the competition. His two runs measured only 0.05 seconds apart giving him 2nd place overall out of 92 skiers. Even more remarkable was the fact that he had not been skiing for over 20 years.  Both teams were aided by the loan of very exotic Zai skis made partly of granite!
David Tydeman and Grant Gordon sailed with great skill to reach the semi-finals of the competition which was eventually won by the Royal Yacht Squadron (RORC members too).
