RORC JOINING CRITERIA You are welcome to apply for Provisional Membership which will give you the full advantages of being a Club Member (except flying the burgee or wearing the Club tie) while you are completing the qualifying mileage. Provisional Membership lasts up to two years. You will need to be proposed and seconded by a member of the Club, and sponsored by a RORC Committee Member or the Commodore of a recognised Yacht Club. A Committee member is available at every RORC race, or introductions may be requested. A certificate of competency must be signed by the owner or person in charge of a qualifying race, if you are the owner this need not be signed.
