EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: The skipper and at least 50% of the crew must have completed (in the yacht in which they will race the Cowes - Madeira Race) in the 13 months preceding the start either:
TRAINING REQUIREMENT: It is the skipper’s responsibility to ensure that the following criteria are met and that copies of Certificates or Letters of Attendance are submitted to RORC. COPIES OF THESE CERTIFICATES/LETTERS OF ATTENDANCE MUST BE LODGED WITH THE RORC NO LATER THAN THURSDAY 31st JULY. TRACKING: It will be mandatory for yachts to carry an OC Tracker unit for the duration of the race. A refundable deposit, which may be set against a credit card, may be required. BRIEFING: A briefing will be held at 1700 on Sunday 10th August in Cowes START: Monday 11th August from the RYS Cowes, to the West First Warning Signal 0850 HIGH WATER: Portsmouth 0706 3.6m COURSE: Casquets (P), Ushant (P), Ponta de Sâo Lourenço (S), Quinta do Lorde.
