CLASSES: IRC, 2 Handed Class, ORC Club using the triple number scoring system. When a yacht has both ORC Club and IRC certificates she will figure in both RORC results.

Organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club in association with the Royal Harwich Yacht Club, the East Anglian Offshore Racing Association, the Yacht Club Scheveningen, the Royal Maas Yacht Club, the Noordzee Club and the Royal Dutch Navy Yacht Club

Note: - Boats competing in the ABN AMRO North Sea Regatta may enter the North Sea Race directly through the ABN AMRO North Sea Regatta. All other entries should enter through the RORC

TROPHIES: - The following trophies will be allocated to ORC Club classes once entries have closed: - Cruising YC of Australia Trophy, Veerhaven Trophy; Lora Challenge Cup; Goeree Challenge Cup; Maas Challenge Cup; RORC Seahorse Trophy; Zwerver Cup; Wylie Trophy – BCT IRC; Lutine Trophy-IRC 0; Joannes Pompejus Memorial Cup – IRC 1; Carter-Ruck Trophy – IRC 2; Jan Moreton Salver – IRC 3; Smith's Knoll Trophy - First long course boat at Smith’s Knoll buoy; City of the Hague Trophy - Best yacht from Yacht Club Scheveningen; C70 Trophy (Holland v GB), Golden Dragon Trophy - 2–Handed Class; RORC Medallions

SSS MINIMUM: 20 or STIX MINIMUM 23 and AVS MINIMUM 130-0.005 x m (where m is minimum sailing weight in Kg) Boats with series date of 2000 and later will be categorised under STIX only. Boats with series date before 2000 may be categorised under either STIX or SSSN.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS: Category 3 with RORC prescriptions plus Offshore Special Regulations liferaft.

COURSE: Cork Sand Yacht Beacon – Sunk Light Float – Longsand Head Buoy – South Galloper Buoy – North Shipwash Buoy – Smith’s Knoll Buoy – MSP Buoy - Scheveningen.

DISTANCE: Approximately 180 miles
