A Solo Offshore Racing Campaign with Will Harris

Will Harris has campaigned in the discipline of Short handed Offshore racing for the past 5 years, working towards the solo round the world race, the Vendée Globe

TIME: 19.00

This year Will competed in the La Solitaire du Figaro for his second time, a race considered the unofficial world championships of solo sailing.

At 25 years-old, Will was one of the youngest competitors and one of only 2 British sailors racing in a 47 strong fleet, competing against offshore household names such as Michel Desjoyeaux, Armel Le Cléac'h and Loïck Peyron.

With vast experience among other classes too including the Volvo Ocean Race, Imoca 60's and the Double-handed RORC series, Will shares his experiences and learnings of campaigning in the discipline of short-handed racing.
