Tiny Mitchell Gentlemen's Lunch
DATE: Saturday 9th November
LOCATION: Cowes Clubhouse
A former Commodore of the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club in Burnham, he wanted to sail his 6 metre in the Solent and as a result bought Rosa Lewis's estate. He set up the Southern branch of what was then the Royal Corinthian. Today this building is now the RORC Cowes Clubhouse and this Gentlemen’s lunch celebrates the desire of Tiny Mitchell to promote and develop sailing in the Solent.
