Trafalgar Night & Laying Up Supper

Celebrate the naval triumph of the Battle of Trafalgar, at this traditional Cowes Clubhouse Supper.

Join us at for this traditional naval celebration dinner that commemorates Nelson’s famous victory, at the battle of Trafalgar. This promises to be a grand traditional club night and we welcome Members and their friends back again, whilst encouraging those who have missed this in the past event to come and enjoy the evening, with our Trafalgar themed menu taking you back to the battle. With the ‘Cannon Balls’, ‘The Mizzen’ and ‘Lady Hamilton’s Victory Dessert’, all set to take part.

The evening will contain the usual running order of Piping in the Beef, Royal and Loyal Toasts and a brief history of the famous battle. The evening will contain all the traditional music and the singing of the established songs leading with “Hearts of Oak” and “Spanish Ladies” all of which will be accompanied by the traditional port passed, of course, to the left.

A Selection of Cheeses,
Accompanied by grapes, celery & biscuits
