Madeira - Cowes Race: British Soldier to fight it's way back

British Soldier at the start for the RORC's 2008 Madeira - Cowes RaceBritish Soldier was the first yacht to start the Madeira to Cowes Race at 1100 BST this morning. The RORC has allowed boats to nominate their start day for this race and the other yachts will restart as follows:

Jamaica Clipper - Friday 22nd August, Pen Azen and Puma Logic - Monday 25th August. Change of Course is still cruising to Madeira for the race having been forced to retire from the Cowes to Madeira race, having received outside help with a back-stay problem. We shall find out when she wishes to start on her arrival.
