Date: Friday 28th February 2021

Course: Dubai, UAE - Muscat, Oman

Distance (nm): 360

Organised by the United Arab Emirates Sailing and Rowing Federation.

The 29th edition of this competitive 360-mile race takes the fleet along the coast of the UAE before rounding the remote Musandam peninsula and then down the coast of Oman. The race starts against the dramatic urban backdrop of the Dubai skyscraper skyline, before competitors proceed to pass the Ras al-Khaimah and through the Strait of Hormuz where the fleet can enjoy the spectacular sight of the mountains of Musandam before exiting the Gulf of Arabia into the Indian Ocean. With the possibility of electrical storms and changeable tropical conditions this is a challenging adventure for every competitor.
