Cowes, UK (20 September 2025) - The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC), in collaboration with Cap-Regatta and supported by LGL and Jeanneau, is proud to host the 2025 Offshore Double Handed World Championships from 22nd September to 1st October from Cowes, Isle of Wight.
The 2025 Offshore Double Handed World Championships is a World Sailing-recognised event pitching mixed-gender double-handed teams to compete in a demanding series of offshore races aboard equipment-supplied Sun Fast 30 One Design boats.
Racing Format – How It Works
The Championship starts with two qualification races. The top five teams from each qualifying race go straight to the World Championship Final.
Teams that miss out get a second chance in the Repechage Race, where the winner also qualifies for the final.
