Often forgotten is that the Channel Race is one of the Club’s oldest events, designed by the Ocean Racing Club (as it was then) in 1928 to be the second ‘ocean race’ after the Fastnet.

Over 100 years old, this is one of the oldest races in the RORC calendar with its origins in a pre-World War I race from Cowes to St Malo bay.

After a successful introduction to the programme in 2018, the 2022 race will again bring boats from southern Brittany to Cowes as a feeder for the Cowes -Dinard - St Malo Race.

Hosted by Key Yachting, the J-Cup is an annual regatta exclusively for boats of the J/Boats brand, and all J/Boats models are invited to compete.
The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) together with the Ocean Racing Alliance (ORA) are delighted to announce a new offshore race to start on 21st July 2022. The RORC Baltic Sea Race is open to boats racing under IRC, MOCRA, Class40 Rules and other class associations.

RORC are delighted to have been chosen to host this week-long regatta for these much loved and competitive yachts.
The RORC was founded in 1925 to encourage long distance yacht racing and the design, building and navigation of sailing vessels in which speed and seaworthiness are combined. Today the club encourages ocean, long distance and other forms of yacht racing and yachting activity.
