Joining the RORC
To join the RORC is to become part of a long established, unique and exclusive Club dedicated to encouraging long distance, and other forms of yacht racing and activity. RORC members will join a large network of sailors and benefit from two exemplary Clubhouses, located in the hub of central London and in the sailing capital of the UK, Cowes.

Join Today
To join the RORC you need to:
1. Be proposed and seconded by two current RORC members.
Proposers and seconders must send a letter of recommendation either directly to the Membership Secretary or along with the applicant's application pack.
2. Complete the Application Form

3. Complete a Certificate of Competency
Must be signed by the skipper of a boat on which the candidate has completed a qualifying race. If you are the owner, or applying as a RORC Corinthian Member, this need not be signed. You can download the Certificate of Competency here.
4. Complete a Direct Debit Form
Applicants with a UK bank account can set up their subscription payments via direct debit. An original signed copy must be sent in the post to the address below. You can download the Direct Debit Form here.
5. Send your application

Current Subscription Rates
The RORC offers competitive rates for UK and Overseas member and the Club is committed to supporting youth members, offering staggered special rates based on age (from Under 18, Under 25 through to 29). All rates are applicable to both Ocean Racing and Corinthian Members.

Joining Fee
All new and reinstated members pay a joining fee of half their annual subscription upon election, with the exception of Under 30 members, Under 25 members and Cadet members.
