Bob Fisher

Bob Fisher - yachtsman, yachting journalist and larger than life character died on 25th January 2021 at his home in Lymington Hampshire surrounded by his family.

Bob was a RORC member for 45 years and covered yachting events big and small all over the world, from the smallest dinghies, to the ultimate America’s Cup. The Fish, as he was fondly known, was first and foremost a sailor and knew what it took to win having won many a dinghy championship, the Little America's Cup and the two handed Round Britain Race. He left an impression on everyone he met and will be sadly missed by yachtsmen and journalists all over the world. Our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.
